Do you think these names are appropriate for both family and baby?

So much goes into deciding on a name for an African baby. African names have profound meanings and they have to work with the family and the circumstances around which the baby is born. So I'm young and not married to My baby's dad.

Uyanda-girl [oo-yan-da] means increasing the family.

Leano-boy [li-yan-oh]

Means "mercy, kindness" in Igbo.

Means "rejoice" in Shona.



KATO m Eastern African

Means "second of twins" in Luganda.



KAYIN m %26amp; f Yoruba

Means "celebrated child" in Yoruba

KWAME m Western African

Means "born on Saturday" in Akan. ( i know a guy with this name)



NIA (2) f Eastern African

Means "purpose" in Swahili.



SANAA f Eastern African

Means "art" in Swahili.



SAUDA f Eastern African

Means "dark complexion" in Swahili.



SUBIRA f Eastern African

Means "patience" in Swahili.



TAFARI m Eastern African

Possibly means "he who inspires awe" in Amharic..





You should look up the proper pronunciation :)
The important thing is how you feel about them and what you think.

I would advise to just choose a name that you love and not worry about the circumstances saying that their are many great African names. I love the boy name not so much the girls sorry.
