I favor Orion for a boy. He is the hunter constellation you see in the winter sky in the northern hemisphere. He chases Scorpio across the sky.

@Ellyn: That clip made me laugh. I once suggested Erasmus as a boy's name to wife. That was the first name of Charles Darwin's (Darwin being a last name is a poor choice for a first name in my opinion) grandfather, whom encouraged him to go on the voyage of the Beagle and helped persuade Charles' father to let him. ... I got Vetoed!
