Should baby middle names have meanings?

like name the child after someone significant instead of just a random name?Should baby middle names have meanings?
No, they don't HAVE to. If you want them to you can but you can do a random name.
In my opinion I think it is nice to do that if there is someone you really would like to honour. Also it's nice for a child to have their own identity with their first name. My middle name was after someone and it makes me feel happy because she's a really nice lady and it gave me an instant connection with her and liking to her when we met.Should baby middle names have meanings?
They don't have to, mine isn't and neither is most of my friends middle names, I know a few people who are named after a relative but most of them dislike their name because it's very old fashioned like Elizabeth.Should baby middle names have meanings?
My son's middle name has a meaning, it is Livingston, and it means a Loved Son, Brent Livingston, and he is loved by everyone!!!
Not necessarily. Just something pretty sounding. And it's not so that it makes the initials a swear or something...
Its down to what the parent wants, I chose to name after loved ones but it really depends what you want for your child. *
