Edit: If meanings are important to you, you'd likely find this site useful: http://www.behindthename.com/ Unlike other random "baby name" sites, you won't find randomly created meanings or loose etymologies here. Ruben, for instance, is a form of Reuben, meaning "behold, a son." The red meaning you found is likely related to the old pet form Ruby (which is a fairly obvious "red" reference, but as a separate name, a completely different etymology). ;) Likewise, Vivian is generally thought to stem from Vivianus, from Latin vivus meaning "alive." Definitely worth looking into. ;)
You're very welcome. ;) I'm glad you found the site useful. It really is a great resource!
